Course Aim:
This NEBOSH General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety is designrf got managers and supervisors working in any industry. Its aim is to equip you with a comprehensive understanding of how to identify and manage workplace hazards so that you can improve the safety culture within your organisation and help to mimisse risk.
As a result, your business will operate more safely and run more efficiently.

Course Objective:
This modern qualification combines activities, learning and interactive materials to provide you with an interesting and engaging experience. It focuses on key skills that means you can instantly apply the knowledge you gain and add value to your organisation.
Assessment is a two-step process:
NG1 - A 24hr open book examination to assess what you know. This is scenario based and following the completion of the exam it will include a follow up closing interview, where you will be asked questions about your submission.
NG2 - A practical risk assessment to assess how you would put what you have learnt into practice. Learners will complete a risk assessment and action plan based on their workplace.

Who is this course for:
This course is for anyone who has health and safety responsibilities as part of their job role or anyone who has an interest in health and safety and wishes to increase their knowledge and improve their future career prospects.
This NEBOSH course deals with generic health and safety topics and is appropriate for people from any occupational background.

On Completion:
On completion of this course the candidate will be awarded with a NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety.
Professional Membership
This qualification meets the academic requirements for Technical membership (TechIOSH) of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health and also Associate membership (AIIRSM) of the Institute of Risk and Safety Management.
Due to the academic nature of the course it is vital that all candidates have a good level of English language skills.
