Course Aim:
According to the Health and Safety Executive (HSE), more worker deaths are caused by falls from height than any other kind of incident in the UK. During this half-day training course you will learn how to safely carry out and properly document detailed periodic inspections of common items of fall protection equipment, including Safety Harnesses, Restraint and Fall Lanyards and their Connectors.

Course Objective:
At the end of the course, candidates will have a knowledge and understanding of the following:
- Health & Safety at Work Order (NI) 1978
- Work at Height Regulations 2005
- Provision & Use of Work Equipment Regulations Personal Protective Equipment Regulations
- Purpose of inspection Contents of the Inspection Kit Conducting the Harness Inspection
- Recording the Harness Inspection Dealing with Defective Equipment Certificate of Obsolesce

For anyone who is responsible for conducting and recording the (in-house) inspection of all safety harnesses and managing the internal register of safety harnesses owned by their company
